The ACCUSINE PCSN is an Active Harmonic Filters (AHF); The AHF are static power electronic products that employ digital logic and IGBT semiconductors to synthesize a current waveform that is injected into the electrical network to cancel harmonic currents caused by nonlinear loads. Three CT's are provided on 3 phase, 4 wire MCCs for A, B ~ C phases. The installer must connect the CT's before operating the Accusine. CT's are Square D Class Torroidal Current Transformers. Customer cables should be installed through the CT window and the secondary must be wired back to the Accusine as explained in the instruction manual. An external circuit breaker or manual disconnect is required as an isolation device. Per NEC, this circuit breaker must be rated for at least % of the rated load current. A circuit breaker/manual disconnect rated at no less than 65Amps is suggested for the 50Amp HCU, Amps for the Amp HCU, and Amps for the Amp HCU.

Description: The addition of either symbol to a "Danger" or "Warning" safety label indicates that an electrical hazard exists which will result in personal injury if the instructions are not followed. DANGER DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous situation. The following summary is from the AccuSine PCS selection program. The AccuSine PCS selection program calculates that, in order to meet the 8% TDD requirement, an AccuSine PCS-rated A RMS is required. In this case, a A rated unit should be specified (in this example, 5% TDD can be achieved due to A unit is selected or additional VAR.
AccuSine PCS+ is simple to size, install, set up and operate. In addition, AccuSine PCS+ eliminates the complex harmonic compliance limit calculations and removes nuisance harmonics from the electrical network.
